Welcome to The Old School House holiday cottage

Located in Letterfearn, in the Scottish Highlands, the Old School House, as you may have guessed was the Head teacher's house until the school closed.

It is now a 3 bedroomed holiday let, which sleeps 5 people.

On the shores of Loch Duich, overlooking the Eilean Donan Castle, this relaxing location on the West Coast of Scotland, is an ideal base for exploring this wonderful part of Scotland.

Whether you like to walk, cycle, or travel by car, There is so much to enjoy, not just the fantastic wildlife and breathtaking scenery, it is a lovely base from which to take day trips, to visit castles, distilleries, gardens, hill and mountain walks. The Isle of Skye with it's many attractions is only a short drive away.

If you take a walk along the side of the loch, you may see otters, seals, porpoises and a wide variety of birds including eagles soaring above the mountains. Deer are often seen absolutely anywhere, while badgers and pine-martins are regular visitors to the garden. (They do enjoy jam and peanut butter sandwiches and bird nuts!)
